1[4] 01 Adding Buddies. Nov 2008

This is the iChat 4 Buddy List with the plus sign used to bring up the Pop up and Add Buddy has been selected.

Changed. The actual menu has changed rather than the specific use we are going to make of it now. The Direct Link to the Address Book and the Spotlight search have been added.

You need Add Buddy for this part

You can also start from the Buddies Menu when it will display just "Add Buddy" when no chat is open. It will display the Buddies name at the Add Buddy point if any sort of 1-1 Chat is open.

The keystrokes shown in the Buddies at the "Add Buddy" point can be used at any time iChat is open.

All will take you to the next picture.

Confirmed to work with Win/IE 5.5 and later (should work in 5.0, but not confirmed), Firefox 2, Safari 3, Opera 9, iCab 3.02 and later, Mac/IE 5, Netscape 6 and later

Old browsers (IE version 4 or earlier, Netscape 4 or earlier) should only see a text-based page which, while not the prettiest option, is still entirely usable.
